Reviews and Testimonials

Kristin and Argit Planning a wedding is very stressful and having someone to go to for help and advice was great. The final week is extremely busy and Carolyn took a load off of my mind when contacting vendors which saved a lot of time. She was a huge help keeping track and organizing things from the ceremony to the reception. ~ Kristin and Argit ~ Holly and Tim Carolyn took all of the details of our wedding - the things that were overwhelming, large and small - and turned it into an easy organized and PERFECT wedding day. We could not have done it without her! ~ Holly and Tim ~ Lauren and Josh Carolyn was very professional, and also helped us throughout our planning process. There are so many things she had covered that I would have forgotten about or not even known to do! ~ Lauren and Josh ~

Real Wedding of Sara+Jim

The are many benefits of hiring a Wedding Liaison (day of coordinator) for the DIY (do it yourself) bride or couple. Many times the ceremony site does not have someone to ensure that all of the chairs, props, aisle runner and other decor are in place.  You want your family and friends to enjoy the day just as you are and not be running around in the heat of the day - whether or not they are in their wedding clothes or not. Sara and Jim picked a beautiful location for the ceremony location - The Powder Magazine Patio at Jefferson Barrack Park in south St Louis County. Aerial View of the Powder Magazine Patio Sara and Jim Wedding Ceremony This site basically comes with electricity, restrooms and space to accommodate 300 guests. We placed DIY garland of crystals and pink petite flowers in the trees, aisle runner with weighted boxes to keep the runner from blowing in the wind, two potted plants, and a rose table with simple decor. Who is Carolyn Burke - Wedding Liaison?

Who Is Carolyn Burke - Wedding Liaison? When Carolyn Burke   reports to work, she doesn't travel light.  Armed with an emergency kit with items from scissors to hair spray; she is prepared for every possible situation the event could bring.  Burke calls herself a Wedding Liaison and the owner of  Carolyn Burke - Wedding Liaison .  She thrives in the rush of excitement - and sometimes panic - of her clients' wedding events. "I love every moment of what I do," she said.  "It's like putting together a puzzle and getting all the pieces to fit together."  The excitement comes from building an event from the ground up.  Many clients come in with no clue where they want to have their event, so Burke holds a face-to-face meeting and picks what elements of the event are important and that is where you spend the most money.  She coordinates wedding ceremonies of many faiths, religious and non-religious backgrounds.
