Unique Way to Write Wedding Vows

A sweet young couple reserved my date and time for a May Day wedding.  The ceremony occurred at the Music Stand at Tower Grove Park in St Louis MO.  They chose to recite their owns vows.  When I arrived at the ceremony, I ask to place the vows in my folder and hand it to them when the time comes to recite them.  The groom works as a Cook at a Diner in St Louis. The vows they wrote to each other were sweet and enduring.  But what makes these vows memorable were that they were written on a few Guest Checks from the diner. Although the couple were quite young. They seemed mature and sure of themselves. They had memorized their vows and really did not seem to need them. Very sweet indeed - Congratulations to Audrey and Daniel !!

Dave + Mary = Bowling Hall of Fame

I thought I would go back, way back, in time to reflect on one of my early wedding ceremonies I performed for Mary and Dave at what was once the Bowling Hall of Fame in downtown.  This couple was from Texas and they decided to have a destination wedding in St. Louis . They had one thing in common - both owned their own bowling allies .  This commonality helped them fall in love, not only with their careers, but with each other. I was happy perform a short, sweet and simple ceremony - right on the foul line!!  I love unique and unusual locations to perform ceremonies for  all couples, all faiths, all budgets .
