Carolyn Burke is an Accredited Bridal Consultant (ABC™) and is one of less than 75 worldwide to hold this prestigious designation.  She had to pass a portfolio review; attend several business seminars, webinars and networking events; and receive recommendations from clients and other wedding professionals.  Carolyn believes that continuing education and being a mentor to others is the key to staying abreast of current trends and making them work for her couples.


CODE OF ETHICS
  • Represent each couple fairly and honestly, providing all agreed-to services in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Establish reasonable, proper fees for services and provide written estimates to each couple.
  • Use honest factual advertising.
  • Deal with employees fairly, in an unbiased manner.
  • Operate an establishment that is a credit to the Association and the community.
  • Disclose to clients any payment received from suppliers.

How Formal Is Your Wedding?

The formal bridal party consists of four to twelve attendants; a maid or matron of honor, the best man, bridesmaids, one usher for every fifty guests, one or two flower girls, and a ring bearer. The bride's gown is a work of art, full length, usually with a train and veil. The number of guests is often between 150 and 400.
