Karen + Brian = Lodge at Grant's Trail

I have performed several ceremonies for couples at The Lodge at Grant's Trail located 10 minutes south of downtown St. Louis.  Karen and Brian were both getting married for the second time and liked the intimacy of this venue.


They hired a photographer for a few hours to take photos of the couple and family members throughout the location.  A venue that can easily be converted from a ceremony site to a reception site is a great way to save $$money$$.

Another detail about this wedding that I liked was the savings in choosing artificial flowers versus real flowers.  As you can see, it is hard to tell sometimes, especially in photos.



A favorite spot for a couple to stand is in front of a fireplace.  This lodge has a 3-story stone fireplace - very romantic.

How Formal Is Your Wedding?
