Recently Engaged in St. Louis ??

 The first step to saying " I Do " is to announce that you or your fiancé just said yes! Before you inform the world, be sure to let your family and closest friends know about the great news. If you and your circle of friends typically communicate via email when sharing news, then it is perfectly acceptable to announce your engagement using this medium.

However, be aware that there are still those (particularly parents and grandparents) who appreciate hearing this type of news in person or over the phone, so let them hear your excitement first hand! It is probably not a great idea to start off the wedding planning and engagement period with an unhappy Mother-of-the-Bride/Groom because they were not the first to know!
